Encore Environment is pleased to announce it has successfully passed its recent ISO 14001: 2015 Environmental Management Systems audit.
The company was first awarded ISO 14001 by certification body BAB – British Assessment Bureau in April 2018. This certification demonstrates our fulfilment to meet the criteria set by the standard to the highest level of quality and service.
To be awarded certification to ISO 14001: 2015, an organisation’s processes and procedures must meet the strict requirements of the International standard. It includes involvement and accountability of top management, complying with national and international environmental law, preventing pollution or having a negative environmental impact, developing and implementing effective environmental controls in line with global standards and developing environmental solutions for the business
Rachel Rowley, managing director at Encore Environment said, “Our job is to help our clients decrease the amount of waste they generate and the impact it has on the environment, so achieving, and maintaining, international certification proving our environmental credibility is very important. We strive to set an example to the businesses we work with and always endeavour to offer excellent customer service. We worked closely with the auditors to reach compliance of the standard and are delighted with the result.”
To maintain the certification, Encore Environment will continue to have regular audits to ensure compliance and to assess initiatives for continued improvement.
