We are excited to announce that we have been shortlisted twice at the leading technology and innovation business awards in the South East Midlands (SEMLEP area) – The Biztech Bright Sparc and Digital Awards 2019.
Encore Environment has been shortlisted as a finalist in two awards: Best Mobile App, and The Green Tech Award for Innovation and Digital Tech.
The Biztech Bright Sparc and Digital Awards are a celebration of everything that makes the SEMLEP area such a great place for creativity, innovation and entrepreneurial spirit. All in the pursuit of finding technological solutions that transform lives. The SEMLEP area is well known to be a hive of innovation that occupies a strategically important position, located in between London, Birmingham, Oxford and Cambridge.
This years’ Bright Sparc and Digital Awards judges include an impressive cross-section of experts from some of the South East Midlands areas’ most advanced organisations including university directors, bankers, digital forensic experts, councillors and sustainability specialists. With more categories than ever before, the judges are keen to learn about the exciting digital and technology innovations being developed by individuals, education establishments and businesses within the SEMLEP region.
“We are delighted to have been shortlisted for the development of our mobile app ‘Project DIVERT’, a first of its kind app for the construction industry that enables the diversion of waste from landfill by identifying where to utilise the waste materials most effectively. This can result in a large proportion of the waste being recycled or repurposed by charities and organisations in need,” said Rachel Rowley, managing director at Encore Environment.
The winners will be announced at a special awards ceremony on the 22nd November 2019 at the NatWest Entrepreneur Accelerator Hub in Milton Keynes.
