We are proud to announce that we have been awarded ‘Best Waste Management Consultancy 2021’ in the UK Enterprise Awards hosted by SME-News!
Despite facing one of the most tumultuous times the UK economy has ever seen, SME’s have come out fighting. UK business owners have demonstrated the upmost dedication and innovation in the ways that they have not only adapted but weathered the Covid-19 storm to ensure the survival of their businesses. This year, more than ever, the UK Enterprise awards have been proud to represent a vibrant tapestry of dedicated, innovative and adaptive SME’s. After much deliberation from its panel of judges, Encore Environment was announced a winner and leader in the field of waste management.
“We are delighted to have won this award and been recognised for the waste management and environmental consultancy services we provide. We have definitely had to adapt over the last year, however this is the benefit of being an SME. We are disruptors. We think outside the box and we are agile. This means we are best placed to help our clients with innovation when they are looking for support. Our focus is to continue to identify and implement key value drivers that will help our clients have the greatest impact of value on the environment and local communities, as part of their waste management strategies.”
As part of the entry, Encore Environment showcased their new innovations in the sector including Project DIVERT, a web-based platform that diverts waste away from landfill to social enterprises in need; MATexch, which provides an online platform for construction managers to reuse surplus materials; and Waste Wise Kids, a non-profit that educates young children about waste and sustainability in schools.
The aim of the 2021 UK Enterprise Awards was to find the best businesses across the nation and give them the recognition they deserve. The judges made their decision based on various criteria including client dedication, innovation, business growth, longevity, online reputation, customer feedback and business performance.
“As always, a big thank you goes to our amazing team at Encore, we are so proud of you all and what you have achieved,” said Rachel. “If there’s one thing the pandemic has shown us it is that we can count on our staff to continue to do an excellent job, be amazingly productive and resilient even in a crisis, whilst juggling family life and keeping themselves and their family safe. They are superstars.’
