ProjectDIVERT shortlisted in prestigious Construction News Awards

We are excited to announce that ProjectDIVERT has been shortlisted for ‘Best Use of Technology’ at the most prestigious and coveted awards in the construction sector – the Construction News Awards 2020!

Winning a Construction News Award is a well-recognised badge of excellence amongst clients and peers. The awards focus on celebrating People, Pride and Passion in the construction industry and through its rigorous judging process, the awards recognise those that have gone above and beyond in the last 12 months.

“We are absolutely thrilled to have been shortlisted for Best Use of Technology,” said Rachel Rowley, managing director at Encore Environment. “Last year, ProjectDIVERT diverted over 52 tonnes of construction waste from landfill, stopped the release of tonnes of carbon into the atmosphere and on average saved construction companies 30% on waste costs.”

“A large proportion of construction waste can be recycled or repurposed by charities and organisations in need. Through ProjectDIVERT, we facilitate that connection. Helping the environment and helping people. We couldn’t be prouder!”

As a finalist, we now progress to the face-to-face judging stage, where we have the chance to impress some of the UK’s leading professionals in the construction industry today.

This year, the Construction News Awards celebrate 24 years of showcasing the very best in the industry.

The winners will be announced at a special awards ceremony with the UK construction elite on the 9th July 2020 at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Mayfair, London.

Wish us luck!
