For the second year running, we are delighted to be announce finalists in two categories in the Materials Recycling World National Recycling Awards 2021! The winners will be announced on December 8th at a special ceremony at the Hilton Park Lane in Mayfair London!
Our award-winning Project DIVERT is a finalist in the Smarter Systems (Efficiency) Award category and our pioneering non-profit organisation, Waste Wise Kids, has been shortlisted in the Social Value Initiative – Organisation of the Year award.
The MRW National Recycling Awards are the most prestigious awards in the recycling and resource management sector, with winning projects and teams rightly recognised for their achievements within the industry and further along the supply chain. The awards seek to recognise and reward excellence and inspire others, for the advancement of the sector.
Rachel Rowley, Encore Environment’s managing director is thrilled!
“I am so proud that both ProjectDIVERT and Waste Wise Kids have been announced finalists at the NRA’s again! Both initiatives have grown and progressed so much, we are really hoping to stand out to the judges this year, however, win or not, this recognition really reinforces and strengthens our purpose to influence environmental and sustainability best practice and create opportunities for social value! We might be small, but we are mighty, and it is a real honour and testament to the hard work the Encore team does to be up there with some of the largest waste management and recycling resource organisations in the sector!”
Project DIVERT and Waste Wise Kids have been developed to help create a more sustainable world and to transform lives. This is at the core of Encore Environment’s motivation. How we choose to manage waste now, will influence how we live in generations to come. We are very proud that they are having a hugely positive social impact as the fundamental ‘reduce, reuse, recycle and repurpose’ values cascade down from businesses, local authorities, and school leaders to benefit children, charities and the wider community.
Thank you to all our clients for your continued support and wish us luck!
