Encore shortlisted for two National Recycling Awards!

NRW Awards FinalistEncore Environment is delighted to announce that we are in the running to take home two prestigious waste management and recycling industry awards at this year’s MRW National Recycling Awards 2020!

Our award-winning Project DIVERT web based software is a finalist in the Smarter Systems (Efficiency) Award category and our pioneering non-profit organisation, Waste Wise Kids, has been shortlisted in the Social Value Initiative of the Year award.

The National Recycling Awards bring together the whole waste management and recycling sector. Over 700 key players in the industry are expected to attend the awards ceremony to discover who will be taking home the ultimate industry accolades.

Rachel Rowley, Encore Environment’s managing director is thrilled! “This recognition for our contribution to the waste management and recycling industry really reinforces and strengthens our purpose to influence environmental and sustainability best practice, focusing on priority areas such as reuse and recycling, waste management, social value and carbon reduction.”

“We are an experienced and inventive team, that are really breaking the mould of traditional routes of waste disposal,” Rachel continued.  “Both Project DIVERT and Waste Wise Kids offer our clients a real point of difference and substantial value. This encourages them to make responsible decisions that are better for the environment and have a positive impact on the wider community. It is a real honour and has definitely given us a boost through these uncertain and challenging times!”

Encore Environment is a proud member of the leading global authority on social enterprise – Social Enterprise UK (SEUK). Both Project DIVERT and the Waste Wise Kids school’s program have been developed to help create a more sustainable world and to transform lives. This is at the core of our motivation. How we choose to manage waste now, will influence how we live in generations to come. We are very proud that they are having a hugely positive social impact as the fundamental ‘reduce, reuse, recycle and repurpose’ values cascades down from businesses, local authorities, and school leaders to benefit children, charities and the wider community.

The winners will be announced at a special awards ceremony on the 15th December 2020 at The Hilton in Mayfair, London.

Thank you to all our customers for your continued support and wish us luck!
