Best Practice

The Parliamentary Review is an MP-backed publication that showcases best practice from across the public and private sector, with the aim of sharing knowledge and raising standards. Its annual release of the magazine has become a key fixture in the political calendar. Chaired by Lord Pickles, former Conservative Communities Secretary, and Lord Blunkett, former Labour Home Secretary, each of its editions focuses on a key governmental policy area, with a variety of organisations sharing personal insight alongside cabinet ministers, government agencies, associations and trade bodies.

Rachel Rowley, managing director at Encore Environment said: “Being published in The Parliamentary Review has really given us the platform to open discussions about sustainability priorities in the industry, future policy direction and to showcase our mobile app Project DIVERT, a first of its kind innovation for the construction industry. We are delighted that Parliament chose to use Encore Environment as an example of best business practices in the waste sector.”

A message from Lord Pickles and Lord Blunkett said: “The ability to listen and learn from one another has always been vital in parliament, in business and in most aspects of daily life. But at this particular moment in time, as national and global events continue to reiterate, it is uncommonly crucial that we forge new channels of communication and reinforce existing ones. The article from Encore Environment is an attempt to do just that.”

The Parliamentary Review’s publication was marked with a reception at the Palace of Westminster that Encore Environment attended. The publication is sent to over 500,000 leading business executives, policy makers and other relevant individuals.
