What We Do

Intro

We provide total waste management, environmental consultancy and customised solutions to achieve your sustainability goals, reduce your costs and carbon footprint, and support you throughout a project.

We coordinate and manage environmental waste reduction via a national supply chain of fully vetted specialist recycling facilities and, wherever possible, we aim to reuse. Our reduce, reuse and recycle approach is fully aligned to the industry waste hierarchy.

For any BREEAM project, our in-house experts and qualified BREEAM assessors identify the recycling possibilities of a project from the very start, provide regular BREEAM assessments as standard, liaise with contractors and identify opportunities to reduce carbon and maximise credits.

Our ultimate aim is to reduce weights of materials being removed and ending up in skips.

Waste management explained

We provide waste management services nationwide for businesses of all sizes and complexity. Our nationwide chain of vetted suppliers enables us to offer everything from skips, bins and cages to compactors, WEEE, hazardous waste disposal and other specialist needs. Whatever the service, we can arrange and coordinate them all.

We also collaborate and support logistics companies in strip-out and demolition projects to improve deconstruction and help with diversion of waste from landfill.

Duty of Care

We believe compliance is key. Our suppliers are audited to ensure they are legally compliant, all KPIs and accreditations are in place, and they uphold our standards and duty of care. We check all waste documentation from the outset through to destination, ensuring Environmental Agency standards and that waste disposal regulations are being met. We mitigate the risk of non-compliance, fines and reputational damage. Our transparent supply chain lets you know the exact end destination of your waste.

Intelligent Data

Encore provides stakeholders with data to make informed decisions about their environmental waste management strategies, whether it’s identifying materials that can be innovatively reprocessed, remanufactured or recycled back into the supply chain, or possible commercial advantages such as rebates from segregated and recycled materials. We also provide monthly site reports as well as combined multiple sites data for board level management information, aligning with KPI's.

Personal Service

You’ll only have to deal with one person for all your waste removal needs as we oversee various suppliers on multiple sites for you. We keep you informed with good quality management information and reporting. All relevant documents are uploaded on our customised IT system for easy access to all the project waste information you need.

Close Collaboration

Encore is completely independent of the waste suppliers, and therefore can advise our clients on the best waste strategy for them.

Specialist Logistics

We oversee projects on particularly challenging sites such as schools and city projects with restricted access, strict wait and load rules and demanding on-site segregation requirements, as well as out-of-hours support and weekend services. When requested, a visit is carried out to physically view the more complex sites to ensure smooth service and delivery. We also provide our bins to each site to ensure we are not restricted to using one supplier for emptying them.

Encore's team is experienced within the BREEAM and SKA. Our BREEAM assessors work actively with clients to maximise points for a much-improved environmental building. If you use our waste-management services on a BREEAM project, we’ll produce waste reports at no extra cost to help you to achieve full credits.

Full Transparency

We offer full transparency of waste collected, including weights, end destination and any rebate potential to ensure that our clients benefit from any upside on commercials.

Specialist Waste Removal

Being nimble, Encore is able to adapt to any issue that sites have regardless of the waste stream. This makes us a full solutions provider when it comes to waste. This includes all hazardous waste such as asbestos, clinical waste, septic tanks, welfare (e.g. food, plastics, packaging and cans). We can also deal with confidential waste / shredding, road sweeping, oil tanks and WEEE.
