Encouraging social impact and community engagement
We are proud to announce the launch of our employee volunteer programme (EVP)! Employees have the opportunity to donate their time and skills to a charity or non-profit organisation of their choice or can work together with other company members on a team volunteer activity.
Through our Project DIVERT initiative and Waste Wise Kids schools programme, we have fostered so much social impact and witnessed how support from the business community can really transform lives. We wanted to expand on this by creating community engagement opportunities for Encore employees that are meaningful, purposeful and helps those in need.
The EVP, which forms part of our Environmental, Social, Government strategy, reflects Encore’s core values of integrity, collaboration and social responsibility. By participating in volunteer activities, Encore recognises that employees will have the opportunity to have enriching experiences, create lasting connections and develop a sense of pride in their commitment to social value.
