We are very pleased to announce that we have successfully passed our ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems (EMS) reassessment, which is conducted on an annual basis through a third-party audit, the British Assessment Bureau (BAB), a leading ISO certification body and training provider with UKAS accreditation operating nationwide.
This is a fundamental accreditation for our business to demonstrate that our processes and procedures continue to meet the strict requirements of the International standard. This includes involvement and accountability of top management, complying with national and international environmental law, preventing pollution or having a negative environmental impact, developing and implementing effective environmental controls in line with global standards and developing environmental solutions for the business.
Rachel Rowley, managing director at Encore Environment said: “We are very proud to be recognised for our continued commitment to high environmental standards. It is embedded in our business processes so the whole team are involved in tracking, managing and improving performance.”
“We have held ISO 14001 certification since 2018 and are currently working towards BCorp certification. Both certifications play an integral part of our Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) policy which is being developed as part of our 5-year business strategy. As innovators in the sector, it’s businesses like ours that will shape its future. I want to thank my team, especially Melissa and Lisa, for the effort and professionalism placed in conducting this resulting in a successful outcome.”
